When this applies
This applies to you if:
- Your campaign has successfully reached its funding goal.
- You have submitted delivery proof.
- After the verification period ends, your verification rate is below 80%.
How it works
Verification rate is calculated after the verification period
After the 20-day verification period ends, the platform calculates your verification rate:

Example:
- Sampled backers: 15
- "Yes" responses: 11
- Verification rate: 11 ÷ 15 = 73.3%
If your verification rate is below 80%, manual review is triggered.
Your dashboard shows "Verification Under Review"
When manual review is triggered:
- Your Verification Dashboard timeline card is replaced with a Hold State Card.
- The card displays: "Verification Under Review."
- The message explains: "Fewer than 80% of sampled backers confirmed delivery. Our team is reviewing your submission."
What the Hold State Card shows
The Hold State Card includes:

The platform reviews your submission
During manual review, the platform may:
- Review your delivery proof screenshots.
- Review the backer responses and any feedback provided.
- Contact you for additional information.
- Investigate any patterns in the verification responses.
Note: You do not need to take any action unless the platform contacts you. The review process and timeline are at the platform's discretion.
You may be contacted
If the platform needs more information, you may receive:
- An email requesting clarification.
- A request to provide additional delivery proof.
- A request to address specific issues raised by backers.
If you are contacted:
- Respond within the timeframe specified in the email.
- Provide any requested information or documentation.
- Address any issues identified in the review.
Note: Failure to respond within the specified timeframe may affect the review outcome.
Possible outcomes
After manual review, the platform determines the outcome. Possible outcomes include, but are not limited to:

If release is approved after manual review
If your submission is approved:
- You will receive an email notification.
- Your dashboard will update to reflect the new status.
- Funds may be scheduled for release, subject to payment processor requirements and timing.
- The timeline continues to the 30-day dispute window for the final 10% release (subject to dispute window completion).
Note: Fund release timing depends on payment processor availability and processing times. The platform does not guarantee specific release dates.
If action is required
If you are asked to take action:
- Follow the instructions in the platform's communication.
- Address the identified issues within the specified timeframe.
- Submit any requested documentation.
- The platform may, at its discretion, initiate re-verification with affected backers.
Note: Re-verification is not guaranteed and is determined on a case-by-case basis.
