Important Notice: Submitting delivery proof is required to unlock the 60% fund release. The platform verifies delivery through backer sampling, not by reviewing your submission directly. Ensure all backers have received access credentials and can access the delivered content before submitting. Your confirmation is a legal declaration.
What this article explains
This article explains how to submit proof that you have delivered the promised content to your backers. This step is required to trigger the backer verification process and unlock the 60% fund release.
When this applies
This applies to you if:
- Your campaign has successfully reached its funding goal.
- You have created and delivered the content to your backers.
- You are ready to request the 60% fund release.
How it works (step-by-step)
Step 1: Navigate to "Submit Delivery"
- Log into your creator dashboard.
- You will see an alert banner at the top:
"Action Required: Submit delivery proof to unlock 60% release ($X)"
- The banner also shows: "Verification emails will be sent to [percentage] of backers ([X/Y] backers)."
- Click the green "Submit Delivery Proof" button to begin.
- A 4-step wizard will guide you through the submission process.
Step 2: Complete the 4-step wizard
Step 2.1: Select your delivery method and platform
First, indicate how you delivered the content:
- Uploaded to external platform (Kajabi, Teachable, Gumroad, etc.)
- Emailed directly to backers
- Hosted on my own website
- Other
Then select the specific platform where your content is hosted:
- Kajabi
- Teachable
- Circle
- Gumroad
- Custom website
- Other
If you select "Other," you may be asked to provide additional details about the platform or delivery method.
Step 2.2: Enter the access URL
- Paste the URL that backers use to access your content.
- This should be the direct link backers received or will use to log in.
Step 2.3: Upload proof of delivery
Upload at least 3 screenshots showing:
- Content is live and accessible
- Backer access mechanism (blur or redact personal information such as email addresses)
- At least 3 different sections of your content
Optional but recommended:
- Screenshot of email sent to backers with access credentials
- Screenshot showing date/time when access was provided
Important:
- Do not include third-party copyrighted material that you do not have rights to display.
- Ensure backer personal data (names, emails) is not visible in screenshots.
Supported formats: JPG, PNG
Maximum file size: 10MB per file
Upload method: Drag and drop or click to browse.
Step 2.4: Confirm backer access
Check all three confirmation boxes:
| Checkbox | Confirmation |
|---|---|
| ☐ | "All backers have been sent access credentials." |
| ☐ | "I have tested that backers can login." |
| ☐ | "Content is complete and matches campaign description." |
Important: The "Submit Delivery" button is disabled until all three checkboxes are checked.
By checking these boxes, you confirm that you have provided access to all eligible backers and that the content matches your campaign promises. Submitting false information may result in account suspension and fund holds.
Step 3: Submit your delivery proof
- The form validates all required fields.
- Before clicking "Submit Delivery," you will see a warning message:
"Submission triggers the verification process. Backers will receive emails asking to confirm delivery within 7 days."
- Click "Submit Delivery" to complete the process.
- Your submission is timestamped and recorded.
Step 4: Confirmation and next steps
After successful submission:
- You will see a confirmation message: "Delivery submitted. Backers will be asked to verify within 24 hours."
- You will be redirected to your Verification Dashboard.
- Verification emails will be sent to a sample of backers (10-20% of total backers) within 24 hours after your submission is processed.
- You can monitor verification progress in real-time on your Verification Dashboard.
Important rules to know ⚠️
| Rule | Detail |
|---|---|
| Submit by your chosen delivery date | Submit delivery proof on or before your chosen delivery date. You set your delivery date when creating your campaign. |
| Verification begins after submission | The 20-day verification period begins after you submit delivery proof. Plan your timeline accordingly. |
| Screenshot requirements | Screenshots must show content is live, backer access mechanism, and at least 3 content sections. Blur or redact any personal information. Supported formats: JPG, PNG. Maximum 10MB per file. |
| Three confirmation checkboxes | You must check all three boxes (access credentials sent, login tested, content complete) before the Submit button becomes enabled. |
| Progress saving | The form saves your progress. If interrupted, you can return and resume where you left off. |
| Resubmission | If verification does not pass, the platform will contact you with details. You may have the opportunity to address issues and request re-verification, subject to platform review. |
| Screenshot retention | Fund release is primarily determined by backer verification responses. Screenshots are retained as part of your submission record and may be referenced during dispute resolution. |
| 60% release condition | 60% of funds is released only if ≥80% of sampled backers confirm they received the content. |
| Confirmation is binding | Your confirmation that all backers have access is a declaration. False statements may have consequences for your account. |
If this doesn't apply
