What this article explains

This article explains where campaign funds are physically held during the content creation and delivery period, and how to track fund status in your dashboard.

When this applies

This applies to you if:

How it works

Understand where funds are held

After your campaign reaches its funding goal, funds are held in a secure escrow account managed by Airwallex, a third-party payment processor.

Fund Portion Location Accessible?
30% (after release) Your connected payment account Yes, after you withdraw
70% (in escrow) Airwallex escrow account No, until release conditions met

The 70% held in escrow is not accessible to you, the platform, or anyone else until the release conditions are met.

Track fund status in your dashboard

Your Creator Dashboard displays fund status in the My Earnings section:

Field What it shows
Raised Total amount raised from backers (before platform fee)
Available Amount currently available for withdrawal
Pending Amount held in escrow, awaiting release conditions

Monitor fund status at each stage

Stage Fund Status
Campaign funded 30% available for withdrawal, 70% in escrow
After delivery verification passes 30% + 60% available, 10% in escrow
After dispute window closes 100% available (if no disputes)

For the complete release schedule and verification process, see How Fund Release Works After Your Campaign Succeeds.

Important rules to know ⚠️

Rule Detail
Funds held by third-party processor All escrowed funds are held by Airwallex, not by the platform directly.
No early withdrawal You cannot access the 60% or 10% before their scheduled release, regardless of circumstances.
Escrow protects both parties This system ensures creators deliver content and backers receive what they paid for.
Funds do not auto-transfer Released funds become "Available" in your dashboard. You must manually withdraw to your bank account.
